Integrity for good governance and accountability


The directorate of ethics and integrity in zero tolerance  to corruption policies and objectives of the national anti corruption strategy organised an induction meeting underlying how to work with transparency in all government sectors
Stakeholders of government agencies including the chief magistrate, security personnel, technical staff at district level concluded a two day workshop on strengthening and advancing governance and accountability.
The Resident District Commissioner, Bayole Stephen during his remarks, courtailed on building better ethics, professionalism in today's work for good governance.
In his esteemed narrative, the resident commissioner emphasised on consistency by the implementing partners for proper governance during this process.
"As we strengthen the governance and civil society in Uganda, we must set priorities to end corruption and create trust in the public domain". He said.
The district chairperson in his ending remarks thanked the implementing partners and wished the trainees a successful journey to ending such vices in the highlighted areas in the district.
He says the district core values should be upheld with promising indicators to end corruption.
