People in the lower belt of Elgon more so the sub-counties where our Arabic coffee is not favored to grow(especially Inda Ya Wanale) I would encourage that let us go into cocoa growing. This crop we support our households in income generating to better the lives of our homes and families 

This is such a fascinating agriculture to deal with. Otherwise, our brothers and sisters in a more cool environment in upper Elgon ( Inda Ya Mwambu and Mubuya) are growing rich, educating their children, carrying out businesses, building hotels and schools.
 As a Bugisu, I call on people willing, to visit the Commissioner's farm in Mayuge and learn the farming prospect so that we adopt the new rich cash crop in the region. Schools and other institutions please visit and benchmark.

Mbale district monitoring and supervision team in an inclusive composure, continued to assese the works of NOSP community access road spanning from Bungokho to Bumbobi respectively. The team compromised of political and technical stakeholders with the presence of Deputy resident commissioner, Nakawala Naume as mandated by the President. Eastern Uganda, On Mental Health! Stakeholders from both Mbale districit and City attended a one meeting at lukhobo hall on Friday March 2025 this week. StrongMinds Uganda,  organized the dissemination of the Mental Health Scorecard for Schools and Health Facilities to key stakeholders in several districts including Mbale city and Mbale district. This event aimed to promote mental health awareness and integration in schools and health facilities. The scorecard is a tool designed to track and evaluate the quality of mental health services in these settings. By sharing this tool with key stakeholders, we hoped to improve service delivery and ensure that mental health services are accessible and effective. MBALE DISTRICT PAC MONITORING TEAM FOR SPOT CHECKS!

The Local government public accounts committee of mbale district stepped out for monitoring exercise on the projects assessed in the financial years  2023/2024  and 2024/2025 respectively. Mbale district local government consists of 14 sub counties and three town councils as lower local government units and rural urban centres respectively. With consolidated funds from government, the "Wanachi" meaning the netizens receive the funding through respective ministries in terms of service delivery at village, parish and sub county levels.
