KIGEZI TEENS MAGAZINE FOUNDER TRAILS NETWORK FOR EMPOWERMENT

On Wednesday, January 08th, 2025, Mr Eddie Nahwera, the founder of Kigezi Teens Magazine paid a courtesy visit to Mr Rino Solberg, a well-known Norwegian Inventor, Entrepreneur, Industrialist, Philanthropist, Speaker and Author who has built businesses on 4 continents over 50 years, written and published 10 Books within the area of Personal Development. 
The meeting which took place at Child Africa offices in Kampala was centered around empowering the youth of Uganda through technology and innovation to create a brighter future for all through the BE BETTER APP.
Nahwera in his interaction with Mr Rino told him how the Kigezi Teens Magazine project is empowering the youth and transforming the lives of the young generation in Kigezi. He narrated how he started the magazine initiative as a young teen at 19 years old with the help of Mrs Julie Solberg and how the initiative has fully changed and empowered the lives of all young people in Kigezi region.
Secondly, he [Nahwera] further told Mr Rino Solberg about the different activities they are doing which include magazine publications, workshops, skills training, charity works, talent development among the teens, school debates, health campaigns, teen conferences, Miss & Mr Teens and festivals among others. 
Mr. Rino Solberg, was impressed by Nahwera’s amazing work lauded him and his team for the great work they are doing saying in verbatim; “Youth empowerment is a strong weapon that we all need to engage in for the development of our communities and I look forward to even closer cooperation between us because through doing this, you’re not doing it alone but paving a way for the entire generation and making the world a better place to live.”
Rino further advised Nahwera to widen his audience and have an initiative that works within the whole country, he proposed it to be a Uganda Teens Magazine advised Eddie to continue trying engagements with more teens, organizations that support and deal with the youth and also keep focused on making Kigezi and the entire nation a better place.
More still, Mr Rino Solberg elaborated on how he developed the BE BETTER APP, a digital fantastic tool to help people on how to achieve our goals, be better and successful. The app is also a one stop center for motivation, inspiration, education and edutainment that deals with practically all areas within “Personal Development and Motivation”
“The app is free for Ugandans in order to eradicate poverty by making it easy for them to find knowledge and inspiration without having to spend too much.” He concluded.
Nahwera applauded Mr. Rino Solberg for developing the app as a tool that would help Ugandans especially young people and shape them into successful citizens in future, he exemplified how teens are continuously downloading the app and recommending to their friends describing that the Be Better App is now the talk of the town in Kabale district, Rukungiri town and other neighboring areas. He urged all youth to visit google play store, apple store and download the app so as to get such great information for their future benefit.
