FIELD DAY @BUMBOBI, GUAGE FISH FARMING REMARKED EEFFICIENT!




At Bumbobi today, farmers in Mbale district toured another significant scheme on 4 acrage with a variety of enterprises but holding hotculture at its best. Mrs. Wagumire in her absence, the farm supervisor had it all with confidence to take the visitors on varieties practiced throughout the year. Wabuge John as delegated by the host, went through the scheme curtailing exhibitions with new adoptabilities as evidenced by the visitors.
Several partners staged out their provenance on the day's theme, bringing the activity a target in regard.
The day did last long on that, though fish farming seemed obvious on normal routine, guage fish farming was exceedingly treated a special tip to manage space while looking after a big prospect of fish on small scale with outstanding progress.
Okecha Joseph,  the senior fisheries officer  for mbale district led a deep discussion on how the techniqe of gauge fish farming can be of great importance in terms of granding and managing different varieties of fish speieces with better yields on a reasonable fish pond or water dam.
The political body was led by the district chairperson Mafabi Muhammad who emphaised zero tolerance for transperacy and accountability in his leadership.
Mafabi thanked the NRM government through ministries for empowering Wanachi towards enhancing livelihood among communities.
Selected farmers across the district have contiously enrolled in such exhibitions with the aspect of harmonising modern farming and sustainable incomes to middle income by 2040.
This project is second of its kind in mbale district and  funded by the Ministry of  water and environment.
The Ministry has enabled the farmer carry out the farm practices through the year, making the scheme relaible to small scale enterprises, a sustainable economy for farmers in bumbobi sub county lives.
