CAO MBALE COMMENDS MBALE CAP FOR AMBULANCE BIKE!

A team from Mbale CAP hands in a new ambulance bike to the health department today at Malukhu Mbale District local government headquarters.

CAO Luke LL Lokuda together with the health department headed by DHO Dr. Wangisi Jonathan Massa received the bike donated by CAP Mbale.
Lokuda thanked the partner for resilience towards such interventions in the health department.
He called for high maintenances on mobility equipment meant to rescue communities  especially the ambulances. CAO emphasized, safety measures remain a point and upheld to safeguard the equipment.The health department continues to shine among several areas but puts much emphasis on reducing mortality deaths among expectant mothers.

Let's all embrace efforts towards reviving good governance and service delivery towards communities.

Mbale district monitoring and supervision team in an inclusive composure, continued to assese the works of NOSP community access road spanning from Bungokho to Bumbobi respectively. The team compromised of political and technical stakeholders with the presence of Deputy resident commissioner, Nakawala Naume as mandated by the President. STRONGMINDS UGANDA PRESENTS A SCORECARD ON MENTAL HEALTH IN MBALE!

Eastern Uganda, On Mental Health! Stakeholders from both Mbale districit and City attended a one meeting at lukhobo hall on Friday March 2025 this week. StrongMinds Uganda,  organized the dissemination of the Mental Health Scorecard for Schools and Health Facilities to key stakeholders in several districts including Mbale city and Mbale district. This event aimed to promote mental health awareness and integration in schools and health facilities. The scorecard is a tool designed to track and evaluate the quality of mental health services in these settings. By sharing this tool with key stakeholders, we hoped to improve service delivery and ensure that mental health services are accessible and effective. MBALE DISTRICT PAC MONITORING TEAM FOR SPOT CHECKS!

The Local government public accounts committee of mbale district stepped out for monitoring exercise on the projects assessed in the financial years  2023/2024  and 2024/2025 respectively. Mbale district local government consists of 14 sub counties and three town councils as lower local government units and rural urban centres respectively. With consolidated funds from government, the "Wanachi" meaning the netizens receive the funding through respective ministries in terms of service delivery at village, parish and sub county levels.
