Spreme court judge  Michael chibita has appealed to graduates to be patient and focused in handling societal issues.

Justice Chibita noted this as the guest of honor While presiding over  the 9th graduation ceremony of livingstone international university(LIU) in Budaka District on friday.
While speaking to 76 students who graduated with certificates,Diplomas and degrees in courses like Information technology,Business administration, Christian ministry,media technology and Education,he said if Ugandan excercise patience and workhard towards success, challenges like corruption,arbortion , sexually transmited diseases and theft could be no more.

Dr.Buregea Henri the vice chancellor of  Livingstone international university called upon the graduands to stick on what is good and remain faithful to God as they go out in the Job market.

Marriam Nakirya the overal best graduate at livingstone international university 2024,who didn't hide her hapiness said Group discusions helped  her to perform well,

she encouraged the students who are still in schools to have discusions and share knowledge with others  inorder to receive the God’s blessings.

It's worth noting that Livingstone International University offers a range of academic programs, including Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Media Technology, Bachelor of Business and Administration, Bachelor of Christian Ministry, and Bachelor of Arts in Education.
The university emphasizes hands-on skills training and a Christ-centered culture.

Mbale district monitoring and supervision team in an inclusive composure, continued to assese the works of NOSP community access road spanning from Bungokho to Bumbobi respectively. The team compromised of political and technical stakeholders with the presence of Deputy resident commissioner, Nakawala Naume as mandated by the President. Eastern Uganda, On Mental Health! Stakeholders from both Mbale districit and City attended a one meeting at lukhobo hall on Friday March 2025 this week. StrongMinds Uganda,  organized the dissemination of the Mental Health Scorecard for Schools and Health Facilities to key stakeholders in several districts including Mbale city and Mbale district. This event aimed to promote mental health awareness and integration in schools and health facilities. The scorecard is a tool designed to track and evaluate the quality of mental health services in these settings. The Local government public accounts committee of mbale district stepped out for monitoring exercise on the projects assessed in the financial years  2023/2024  and 2024/2025 respectively. Mbale district local government consists of 14 sub counties and three town councils as lower local government units and rural urban centres respectively.
