Day two of schools' verification went on well as the three teams managed to do four schools each. Still in Bungokho South, the results affirm the expertise of the selected staff carrying out the exercise are spot on.
Several schools visited were compliant with little anomalies regarding the registers. The turn up among pupils and students respectively remains a challenge since the circumcision calendar started in August.
Absenteeism with slite drops in attendance, making the total enrollments per school differing.
Watasa Mayoka, the principal Internal auditor for Mbale district during a recap for day one, called upon teamwork and quality data among the teams.

"This will guarantee a comprehensive report for chief Administrative officer's action". He said!

However, lower primary classes in some schools continue to face longer hours during verification due to rotation aspect. He noted!

Mbale district monitoring and supervision team in an inclusive composure, continued to assese the works of NOSP community access road spanning from Bungokho to Bumbobi respectively. Eastern Uganda, On Mental Health! Stakeholders from both Mbale districit and City attended a one meeting at lukhobo hall on Friday March 2025 this week. StrongMinds Uganda,  organized the dissemination of the Mental Health Scorecard for Schools and Health Facilities to key stakeholders in several districts including Mbale city and Mbale district. This event aimed to promote mental health awareness and integration in schools and health facilities. The scorecard is a tool designed to track and evaluate the quality of mental health services in these settings. The Local government public accounts committee of mbale district stepped out for monitoring exercise on the projects assessed in the financial years  2023/2024  and 2024/2025 respectively. Mbale district local government consists of 14 sub counties and three town councils as lower local government units and rural urban centres respectively. With consolidated funds from government, the "Wanachi" meaning the netizens receive the funding through respective ministries in terms of service delivery at village, parish and sub county levels.
