PDM PLANNING & REVIEW MEETING REFLECTS STEADY PROGRESS.

Having emerged 3rd for the year 2022/2023 in the national performance, Mbale District has continued to align it's services and rendering vibrant programs as prioritized by government directives.

Unlike Emyooga, PDM stands at 95% re-carrying from the first and second phase with the evidence the communities are transforming to money economy at household level.

The vice chairperson Ms Katami Bess warned of staff extorting money from the beneficiaries, she says " the staff connive with politicians demanding their services for payment".

She pledged for continuous corporations as district political leadership to enable good governance and trust among communities.

The DRDC Mbale District Ms. Nakawala Naume applauded the cohesion formed at the district levels for sound government enrollments. She says this has progressively changed lives of many households who are now evident in our communities.

While addressing the participants in Kuloba hall at Mbale Secondary School in Mbale City, Nakawala called for vigilance to ensure transparency in the government programs for anticipated implementatios. She said 

This engagement was attended by all the SACCO leaders, all Parish chiefs, CDO, all Agricultural extension workers, Successful beneficiaries, Subcounty Chairpersons, Youth entrepreneurs and political stakeholders across 14 Sub counties and three Town Councils.
