PROJECTS COMMISSIONED & LAUNCHED SUCCESSFUL IN MBALE DISTRICT.


Monitoring team from Mbale District 
A team compromising of CAO delegate: Wanzala Anthony, District Chairman: Mafabi Muhammad, RDC: Nakawala Naume and technical staff. The team headed to two Subcounties at the horizon of Wanale, cutting across the border of Wanale- Bukingala for the purposes of carrying out commissioning of Ugift projects, profiling the first one at the farm  of Mukoya Muhammad for hotcultre. 5 stances pit latrine at Bubentsye primary school and a circular maintenance road of Border Wanale Bukingala in both subcounties, estimated to cover 6 kilometres out of 12 kilometres.
The monitoring team achieved today's objective commissioning two complete projects and a road launch to be constructed by Namugabwe contractor limited as earlier mentioned.
Looking at the first project was the ugift at Mukoya Muhammad's farm with quiet a variety of fruits lively illustrated on the farm, one would think, it was an exhibition curtsey.
The team expressed foundness while plotting the farm on 4 acreage with a 20. 000 litre water storage to keep the green scalling.
Mukoya stands out as a model farmer under the cluster of hotcultre in Tubii village, Buwangadya parish in Budwale Subcounty.
DPMO for Mbale District, Wanakina George Dawson described the farmer as an innovative person with resilience to success.
Wanakina while speaking before the visiting team, said the technology behind the substance farming is aimed at boosting the yields with adequate water flow to the farm. 
In his conclusion, he added that the equipment purchased at 70 percent was a co funding  from the government making the beneficiary to complete with 30 percent, enable such model farmers with capacity to acquire for substantative purposes.
District Chairman, Mafabi Muhammad on the same note, appreciated Mukoya Muhammad for the committness into the agriculture sector and especially in the mountains of Wanale.
RDC Mbale District, Nakawala Naume pointed out that a midst challenges, Mukoya has all the zeal to modern farming. On such a variety of fruits, lives of farmers should transform the entire country copying from such practices.
"We now handover the water pump officially to you so that the gold out of your sweat replicates in abundance".
Mukoya Muhammad upon receiving the equipment, decried the lack of market for the yields yet the inputs are costly. He related the current prices in the market as being a suppress to efforts towards the call.
"My appeal goes to the government to help the farmers create market outlets in the region to boost the economy. Some farmers are not bothered because the prices are not worth selling in the market".
Mukoya 's farmland was really visiting, seeing the prospects on the farm lively and curtailing apples, passion fruit, berries onions, tomatoes and watermelon.
At Wanale Subcounty, Bubentsye primary school, the  commissioning team commended the works completed by k&k commercial agencies limited for the qualitness. The project met the assessment requirements before being handed over for use.
Watenga Sarah, DEO's representative, appealed to the school management committee to utilize the facility well and maintain it always.
 Gidudu Christopher, the Headteacher at Bubentsye primary school appreciated the contractor and the district leadership for enabling such a facility with a great course.
With a population size of 916 pupils, the addition project was really needed to supplement the old facilities in place. The Headteacher promised to uphold hygiene and sanitation in the school.

Still in Wanale bordering Bukingala, in Budwale Subcounty, 6 kilometres of marram road was launched with a maintenance grid amounting to 150 million shillings from the road fund.
"The government had allocated less money but we thought this could first work half way while we wait for the rest of the money and the completion be handled, District Chairman said".
The works department was represented by Senior engineer, Mutsaka Frederick who shared the challenges with the community sighting theft in the past, he called for vigilance and cooperation to achieve completion.
Nakawala Naume, the district RDC, Chairman, CAO representative, technical staff and community duelers witnessed the commencement of the road at  the border Wanale Bukingala in Budwale Subcounty.
