The month of August in Bugisu Region has a lot of cultural attachments in terms of circumcision accompanied by kadodi, from the mountains, it's a different story showcasing a recipe called "ISONJA". This is the initial preparation that converges all intending candidates in the three families respectively.

Jewa town council in Bufumbo Subcounty hosts the family of Wanale making it a center of attraction since their boys are escorted with kadodi who at the end form a gala at departure.

Every Sunday, boys from the mountains trekking down to meet at Jewa town Council
