CEHURD FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE HEALTH IN MBALE DISTRICT
CEHURD in partnership with TASO for funding, held a project inception meeting for "Supporting Uganda's response to HIV &TB reduction strategy project" CEHURD to stay for three years under implementation with Mbale District.
The Project will support local systems to end human rights barriers through strengthening District Human rights committees, training of community paralegals,expert clients, dialogues to address human rights barriers and legal literacy through legal aid camps.
Hon. Masaba James, the secretary for health, education and culture representing the district chairman applauded the coming of CEHURD and pledged necessary cooperation towards implementation.
He implored other partners to emulate and create health environment during service delivery.
The DRDC for Mbale District, Nakawala Naume pledged full support to the new partner but also appealed to the rest of the partners to notify the RDC's office for continuous corporations.
