PDM MONITORING IN BUKIENDE SUB COUNTY, BENEFICIARIES STEADILY YIELDING!
After the 1st and 2nd disbursements of PDM monies to all beneficiaries in Mbale district hit 100%, the district PDM core team started it's progress to monitor and assess households on entrepreneurships registered on its inception.
The impact is seemingly carrying successful stories so far, as beneficiaries begin to reflect on the second phase for which they are to invest in pillar one, production, storage, value addition and marketing.
The need to ascertain use of the use of funds is key for the success of the approach.
Bukiende Sub county consist of 7 Parishes all matching at 100%, for both first and second phase.

Nambuya says the project has improved after rehabilitating by spot stamping out the the old trees bearing less fruits
She has over four hundred trees bearing fruits and has a project of harvesting 300kgs in a season
