MBALE DISTRICT PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT VISITS KASOLWE STOCK- NAGRC KAMULI TO EXPERTISE DIVERSITY FARMING.

The district production and marketing officer Mbale District local government, Wanakina George Davidson says, it is an opportunity to improve on the different farming skills and creativity in the industry.
He appealed to selected team to embrace and impact knowledge and skills acquired for continuous support to the communities they serve
In addressing this gap, the district production department has under the agriculture extension grant organized a study tour to KASOLWE STOCK FARM-NAGRC &DB-Kamuli for production staff, farmers' representativesand political leaders to interact with researchers/ techinicians at the farm in the areas of livestock production like poultry, dairy, piggery, fisheries and feeds and feeding.

Mbale district monitoring and supervision team in an inclusive composure, continued to assese the works of NOSP community access road spanning from Bungokho to Bumbobi respectively. The team compromised of political and technical stakeholders with the presence of Deputy resident commissioner, Nakawala Naume as mandated by the President. Eastern Uganda, On Mental Health! Stakeholders from both Mbale districit and City attended a one meeting at lukhobo hall on Friday March 2025 this week. StrongMinds Uganda,  organized the dissemination of the Mental Health Scorecard for Schools and Health Facilities to key stakeholders in several districts including Mbale city and Mbale district. This event aimed to promote mental health awareness and integration in schools and health facilities. The scorecard is a tool designed to track and evaluate the quality of mental health services in these settings. By sharing this tool with key stakeholders, we hoped to improve service delivery and ensure that mental health services are accessible and effective. The Local government public accounts committee of mbale district stepped out for monitoring exercise on the projects assessed in the financial years  2023/2024  and 2024/2025 respectively. Mbale district local government consists of 14 sub counties and three town councils as lower local government units and rural urban centres respectively. With consolidated funds from government, the "Wanachi" meaning the netizens receive the funding through respective ministries in terms of service delivery at village, parish and sub county levels.
