MBALE DISTRICT CHAIRMAN ACTUALISES GOVERNMENT PROJECTS.

Addressing the team on sites about projects for this financial year 2023/24

Mbale District leadership led by Mafabi Muhammad, the LCV Chairman, on 15th/Jan/2024, started off with a team comprasing of office of the president, Political leadership and technical staff on sites selected for funding under SFG PROGRAM.

Several projects have commenced and others incomplete due contractors' defaults.

Quiet a number of projects under SFG program has been pendaled to primary schools to boost hiegne and sanitation.

The district Chairman Mafabi Muhammad, with the technical staff prioritized to elevating heigne and sanitation standards following his  policy of improving school facilities with fully following functional 5 stance pit latrines and classroom blocks for needy schools in particular sub counties like Wanale, Budwale, Busano, Bukiende, Bumasikye, Busiu, Busoba, Bumbobi Lukhonje and Nabumali TC.

The government of Uganda together with implementing partner under SFG program gave a grant to the district.

The current principal district political leader, trails as independent flag bearer but aligned within the NRM dominance incorporating zero tolerance to corruption.

Mafabi, on his routine visits to assess the works under construction in the entire district, pointed out that his leadership had captained on the existing values of the serving government, this is the funding body and it has to be highlighted as the standing body for inclusive participation and support, coupling betterment and competences across the entire nation.

Government's fulfilments start from the village level being identified by the community forming a movement to reach success.

Mbale District local government has greatly marched odds out because of teamwork from both the political and technical players.

In the whole 17 entities where 14 sub counties prevail and 3 town councils champion the urban development, it's demanding to equally allocate resources without fear or favour. 

Communities have become resilient with small percentages of budget allocations, drawing slowliness at implementing services.

The office of the president led by DRDC Nakawala Naume has presently officiated the launch and commissioning of government projects in Mbale district, the NRM government through the ministry of public service has recently given limelight on areas of concern to the district, the mandate to fill the gaps where need be.

The education standards are not only improving but also setting an environment learners can practically improve themselves rightly to suit tomorrow's social economic demands. Adequate staff, infrastructure development and performance can not be left out, the social dynamics facing our young generations in the district can be quarantined with accommodating team players to dwell with up raising pressures.

Road networks are being created and expanded giving hope to the communities bound with poor road outlets.
