WOMEN ON ECONOMIC POWER HOUSE, CELEBRATES (IWD) IN MBALE DISTRICT.

The international women celebrations at Namwenula primary school croped in excelling numbers bringing the meaningful day on acceletated action for gender equality.  Mbale district together with implementing partners peged the event with exhibitions to rephrase the theme in many ways. Several institutions whelmingly presented themselves from all over the district. Mbale district local government was led by Deputy Chief Adminitrative Officer, JULIET CHEPTOEK for today's event. The chief guest was none other than disttict woman member of parliament, Mirriam Mukhaye Wangisi The beauty of being a woman is to adequately demostrate meaningful actions towards accelerated gender equality.

STRONGMINDS UGANDA PRESENTS A SCORECARD ON MENTAL HEALTH IN MBALE!

Eastern Uganda, On Mental Health! Stakeholders from both Mbale districit and City attended a one meeting at lukhobo hall on Friday March 2025 this week. StrongMinds Uganda,  organized the dissemination of the Mental Health Scorecard for Schools and Health Facilities to key stakeholders in several districts including Mbale city and Mbale district. This event aimed to promote mental health awareness and integration in schools and health facilities. The scorecard is a tool designed to track and evaluate the quality of mental health services in these settings. By sharing this tool with key stakeholders, we hoped to improve service delivery and ensure that mental health services are accessible and effective.
