SCHOOLS WITH BOARDING FACILITIES UNDERSCORED
The office of the president led by DRDC Nakawala Naume of Mbale District, yesterday together with representative from the ministry, Sentalo Alex and district inspector of schools, Walufu Asadi, had a monitoring exercise in all boarding facilities to assess the general hygiene and sanitation, dietary and safety measures. The team traversed the entire district most especially in boarding schools with certificate awards, secondary and primary. The district inspector of schools for Mbale, Walufu Asadi during the activity, emphasized safety and general hygiene as key elements. Sentalo Alex, a representative from the ministry grilled the management of schools on dietary changes and whether the food menus are effective.
